SPIRIT on-air talent Matt Case and Sarah Taylor are swapping time slots. Starting Monday July 23rd, Sarah goes from afternoon drive to midday and Matt from midday to afternoon drive. Morning and evening line-ups remain the same, with Scott & Sam in the morning and Martha Hadley in the evening.
For weekends, SPIRIT has added two new programs:
Sunday mornings, Seattle radio listeners are treated to a one-hour show titled “Keep the Faith.” This popular program hosted by Keith Stevens and Donna Cruz airs on many of the Contemporary Christian Music stations across the country. “Keep the Faith” is filled with songs and stories designed to bring hope and encouragement. The program features today’s popular songs from leading Contemporary Christian artists as well as life changing stories.
“Your Favorite Songs,” is a brand new program produced and hosted by SPIRIT’s own Scott Valentine and Sam Kelly that airs on Saturdays and Sundays. This one-hour program spotlights a mix of favorite songs and local interviews. The songs featured are those deemed most “liked” by SPIRIT listeners. The interviews are about local people and their remarkable stories. Recent interviews in this program include local notables like Karen Moyer of the Moyer Foundation, Pastor Eugene Cho, Pastor Mike Howerton, and Carrie Abbott of Legacy Institute.
SPIRIT Program Director Scott Valentine comments about these changes, “We are excited about these changes to our programming line-up. Our goal is to engage and deepen our relationship with our listeners.”
